With the blessing of the First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion, the first divine services were held at the newly opened Holy Myrrhbearers Orthodox 'Mission' in Harrisonburg, Virginia, on February 3, 2012.

In January, 2013, a decision was made to merge the congregation of All Saints of North America Russian Orthodox Church in Middlebrook with that of Holy Myrrhbearers. Archpriest John Moses serves as Rector assisted by Fr. Gabriel Weller.
